Lights – Camera – Action

Being a leader of a large company, sometimes requires a little bit of Hollywood. Our annual awards ceremony is coming up in February, and we’re planning it like a major production. For the first time, we’re using a venue that has a video wall, multiple monitors, a traveling camera to catch the faces of recipients, and a light and sound show that will shake the room.

This event is a once a year opportunity to shine and show your company that you’ve got what it takes to make them proud. They should all leave saying that they are glad that they are part of such an effort.

This year, we are getting agents and managers on the Ceremony Committee; where they will take an active part in the planning, preparation and orchestration of the event. We even have a dress rehearsal scheduled…can you imagine a dress rehearsal? Everything Counts!

My motto for the year: If you’re going to do it…Do It Right!
I’m going to have fun and enjoy an event that used to be tedious.

We’ve been told that the NAD charts remind them of the old days where we had sticker boards in each office. Agents would come in just to make sure that they got a sticker on the board. It seems that these charts are having the same effect.
The momentum is building rapidly and

Fillmore Brooklyn Real Estate Forecast 2011
John Reinhardt’s Forecast: (Note to Fillmore Agents – 12-23-10)

Sales volume will definitely go up in 2011. Buyers are realizing that the best time to buy might have passed as interest rates start to go up. Home prices are likely to rise and fall as inventory is added to the marketplace. Shadow inventory will cause downward pressure on pricing, and pent up demand and value seekers will push prices up again. The road may be a little bit rocky, but we will come out of it with more homes selling as we gear up for the anticipated return to normalcy arrives in early 2012.

Top real estate agents are going to be educating the public as to the reasons why it makes sense to buy now. Even if prices drop a little, the cost to own may never be this good as the lower interest rates substantially affect the buyer’s purchasing power.

So, The Reinhardt Blog is taking a different slant as to how real estate brokerage businesses should react to these anticipated market conditions and predictions.

Here’s how I see it.
Real estate brokerages need to be in the middle of a reinvention
